Chef Silvena Rowe is a celebrity chef with over 35 years’ experience. She is THE leading
wellness chef in the Gulf region, concentrating on offering healthy superfoods& biohacking.

Chef Silvena is the outstanding female celebrity chef in the region and is well-known as the
‘Healthy Chef’, having pathed the way to making delicious, healthy nutritious food with
locally sourced ingredients. Food that is always made in house, plant based and never
processed, with every meal being a rainbow of colour. She specialises in foods that
incorporate potent superfoods, using various ant-oxidant rich foods to create powerful and
flavoursome dishes which strengthen the immune system and revive the metabolism,
slowing down aging and increasing both energy and vitality. Silvena is a real-life model of the
foods she prepares. Particular passion are the sugar free, vegan, gluten free desserts, also

Chef Silvena Rowe is the only female chef in the Caterer Middle East and Hotelier Middle
East ‘Power 50’ lists. She also features in the Top 10 Chefs in the Middle East and is,
naturally, included in the Caterer Middle East Power F&B Top 25 Women.

In the earlier years, Chef Silvena appeared regularly on BBC 1 and other Britsh Natonal
Television shows, where she was a regular face on “Saturday Kitchen”. She is a rotating Judge
on the US Food Network program “Chopped”, visiting Judge on “Masterchef International”
as well as being a main Judge on “Masterchef” – Bulgaria. Her fame has made her
an in-demand chef for numerous celebrities and A listers, as well as an accredited
food writer for the Guardian newspaper in the UK.

As an author, Chef Silvena has written 9 much acclaimed cookbooks, two of which are award
winners. She has also co-written a book on breast cancer prevention diets along with Dr.
Michelle Harvey, a leading British expert in the Breast Cancer field.

Chef Silvena was the Chef Patron in Quince Restaurant, at London’s world-famous Mayfair
Hotel, alongside which she was the creator and driving force behind the award-winning food
range “Delicatezze” by Waitrose, UK. During her tenure at the Mayfair Hotel, she was
approached by Harrods to develop a unique Arabic desserts concept for the famous cafe “In
Q”. The original dessert creations still feature there today.

In Dubai, she has been Chef and Co-Owner of the local Emirati grown brand “Omnia”, known
and loved for its honest, healthy, clean and locally sourced organic food. Omnia was the first
brand in the region to introduce delicious & healthy sugar free and nutritious desserts a
whole menu. Omnia has been one of the top 100 restaurants in Dubai for five years in a
rowe, specialising in preparing raw, paleo, vegan, gluten free and sugar free food, making it
an award-winning leading brand in the healthy food arena, expanding fast in that field in the
region.
Chef Silvena was the first chef to promote farmers markets UAE.

She specialises in Emirati cuisine , having cooked beautiful & modern version of the regions
best loved dishes in her enigmatic “Omnia by Silvena “ restaurant.

Omnia won the UAE Award for Best Healthy Restaurant as well as the Innovation Chef of
the Year Award. More awards followed including a special one-off “Time Out” Award for
continued commitment to Healthy Food, an award specifically created for chef Silvena
Rowe.
Chef Silvena Rowe is the only female chef to have had a substantial billboard above the
iconic Sheikh Zayed road, celebrating chefs in the Gulf region.
For 4 years, Chef Silvena was the food writer for Gulf News’ ‘Friday’ Magazine and now
writes a regular health and wellness page for Time Out in the UAE.

She currently runs successful restaurants Nassau and Al Botanica, as well as Indian Kitchen
by Chef Silvena at the prestigious Jumeriah Golf Estates.

In October 2020 , chef Silvena launched “OTTOMAN WHISPERS” afternoon tea at one of
Dubai’s most iconic properties Park Hyatt hotel.

March 2021 chef Silvena delivered a speech on the world known plagorm “TED talks” on the
subject of
“Food & Power of biohacking”

Silvena has a very succesfull collaboration with Spinneys , the upmarket leading food
retailer with over 75 stores alone in UAE and more in the region of the Middle East, where
she is offering various delicious foods like desserts, salads, fish , sandwiches, making her as
such a truly household name in the Gulf region.
