Learn the pro’s and con’s of popular diets like Keto, Paleo, low carb, low calorie and fasting related to exercise. Discover how to perform the right type of exercise intensity, duration, and frequency based on the type of diet you are following.
11.00 – 12.00 The Hypopressive Method  * First time in Dubai* Presented by Nestor Serra, World Director for Hypopressive RSF, Spain Introductory session to Marcel’s Caufriez Hypopressive Method, which are postural exercises that improve the management of abdominal and pelvic internal pressure. Unlike other abdominal training methods, the Hypopressive method improves the abdominal and pelvic stability by lowering the intra-abdominal pressure (IAP) instead of increasing it. In this way it reduces the waist circumference drastically (8% on average), at the same time provides a perfect short and long term treatment of problems stemming from different types of hernias (spine discs, abdominal, inguinal or pelvic floor, among others) and Urinary Incontinence (UI) treatment.
Points to cover:

  • Fundamentals of anatomy and physiology relevant to abdominal and perineal stability
  • Physio-pathology related to physical activity and sport
  • Principles of training the hypopressive method
  • Intra-abdominal pressure (IAP)
  • RSF- Functional Systemic Reprogramming
  • Differences between other abdominal work methods: Abdominal Hollowing, Abdominal Bracing, Abdominal Vacuum
12.00 – 13.00 Movement for Life. Presented by Nathan Brown, Co-founder of Aikaro Fitness Solutions, UAE We begin to develop these movement patterns shortly after we’re born & we continue to depend on them for the duration of our lives. These stem from just seven basic building blocks our body uses to manage these movements called ‘primal movement patterns’. This is our brains way of managing the millions of different movements we practice throughout each day. As time ticks by mistakenly we neglect the importance of understanding the basic fundamentals of primal movement & view these troubles as an inevitable by-product of getting older. When in actuality combined with sitting for too long, bad choices of nutrition, & of course not moving your body ALL contribute to decreasing your chances of longevity in life. Movement for life is a seminar that captures one of the most compelling research topics, trialled, tested & proven.
13.00 – 14.00 Your Brain and Body: an introduction to brain-based fitness. Presented by Heba Abdel Gawad, Co-founder Body Hack – Brain based fitness, Fitness Education Provider, UAE In this one hour interactive talk we will delve in to the world of applied neuroscience where we will go through:

  • How to apply functional neurology principles in your training to take your results to the next level
14.00 – 15.00 “The Biomechanics Of Gains!” Presented by Ross Gilmour, Co-founder Better Body Collective Body Composition Specialists In this presentation, we look to introduce the core concepts and principles of biomechanics with specific application to Hypertrophy focused training. Without a baseline understanding of this area, selecting exercises and designing training programs to maximize the desired training response will likely be ineffective or non-specific to the individual we are working with. If there is one thing to take away from this presentation, it will be to take the concepts discussed and apply them with logic and critical thinking to everyday practice, both in your own training or with clients if you are a trainer.
Presentation Key Discussion Points:

  • Introduction
  • Hypertrophy Vs Strength Biomechanics
  • How the Mechanisms Of Hypertrophy Influence Exercise Selection & Programming
  • “Muscle Mechanics” Core Concepts
    • The Pay-Off From Knowing Your Anatomy
    • The Context Of Integration vs Isolation
    • Methods For Maximizing Force Production
  • Practical Examples
