Three years ago, I took a leap of faith and picked up a whisk.

My life has not been the same ever since then.

Fueled by my passion for cooking, my mother’s blessings, and my husband’s encouragement, I stand before you as a cooking expert. Not that I wasn’t a big foodie before, but cooking makes the whole experience a lot more special.

Each day I fall more and more in love with healthy cooking and feel amazed at how a careful choice of ingredients and some sneaky techniques can make the tedious task so satisfying.

I can promise you that my journey won’t feature bland and boring ingredients or those ridiculous bite sized munchies. I plan to teach you how experimenting with food can be enjoyable.

But before we venture into then the beautiful path of clean and healthy cooking, here are a few things you should know about me:

My love affair with food started long before I stepped into the kitchen.

As a Lebanese, I have spent a childhood devouring big hearty meals and watching my mom conjure exquisite dishes with staple ingredients. Then when the travel bug bit me, I began exploring the wonders of the world with a fork in my hand.

Unwittingly, these happy memories became the blueprint for my cooking ventures. I guess all the eating out, travel plans, and copious amount of cooking shows I watched did come to good use in the end.

You’ll be surprised to see how easy it is to mix heritage with healthy alternatives. How amazing it is to power through each morning with a power-packed breakfast and tasty treats on-the-go!

I want to show you how life can be so much more than microwave food and calorie-laden platters. You just need a little bit of faith and a whole lot of love to make things work your way.

The secret to my success is heaps of inspiration, a few ounces of persistence, and a dash of love.
